December Holidays

I joined Oreintation 2015 as a facilitator(Facils) and spent most of my time in school for facilitator training. At first I joined orientation with a vague reason,as I wanted to contribute back to the school in the best way. Gradually, I realise why I joined orientation again, first as a participant then as a facil, it was because I love orientation. From the trainings I bonded more with my batch mates and other seniors we all worked towards a common goal which is to make orientation a success. I didn't expect myself to past the interview thus I was determined to give my best as I see this opportunity as a privilege. I learnt a lot from through orientation. Like how we should put others before ourselves. My understanding of the school values and motto was also brought to a whole new level, it use to be a guideline of how a Rvian should be to me like but now it's what makes me proud of RV. I interacted with people with different personalities both strength and flaws I've seen, but through these I learnt how to give and take, how we should learn from each other and improve. For example we should think before we speak and not put our fellow Facils down when they are speaking, instead we should whisper to them or tell them later. This could also be applied in life when we are interacting with people. I'm a rather impulsive person and would voice my thoughts when I have a better idea, but it's only through the forgiveness of my orientation team that I can continue on without offending others. After training I have became more open and have better socialising skills, what Im left with is my love for orien!
